The hotel welcomed its first guests on August 18, 2014. Green Building Council, the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating system ranks buildings on their energy and water conservation, greenhouse gas emission reduction, improved indoor environmental quality and their overall environmental impact. Potawatomi Casino Hotel is the first casino hotel in Wisconsin to attain LEED ® Gold certification.
